The Cooking DOc Brand
This brand identity was developed for The Cooking Doc, a platform created by a board-certified nephrologist who brings together medical expertise and a lifelong love of cooking. The goal was to balance credibility and warmth—building a brand that feels science-backed and trustworthy while still approachable and rooted in the joy of food. The identity pairs clean, confident typography with subtle medical cues, including a logo and badge system that nods to clinical authority without feeling sterile. A supporting icon set reinforces the brand’s core pillars—simple, flavorful recipes grounded in science, sustainable lifestyle changes, and long-term kidney health. Designed to extend seamlessly across YouTube, a cookbook, newsletters, and a website, the system provides a cohesive foundation for a “doctor in the kitchen” voice that makes evidence-based eating feel accessible and enjoyable.
